Clinical Training & DPH Certification for Ambassadors

Members of Joseph H. Neal Peer Intimate Health Ambassadors have the opportunity to complete specialized training through the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Joseph H. Neal Health Collaborative.
Through this partnership, students receive education in:
HIV Prevention
STI Prevention & Education
Hepatitis C Awareness
Sexual Health Counseling
Community Outreach
Public Health Communication
Eligible members may become certified to perform rapid HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis testing while gaining valuable clinical and public health experience.
